Easy to find wipers

I needed new wipers and honestly, I always dread finding the right ones. But their site made it super simple to pick out the Silicone Wiper Blades for my SUV. They arrived pretty fast, I think it was like 5 days. Installation was a breeze too, didn't even need any tools. They wipe really clean, no weird noises or anything. Felt good getting that chore done quickly.

Good wiper blades

I bought a Front Wiper Blade Set for my car. They fit perfectly and were easy to install. Delivery took about 6 days to get to me. The blades work well, cleared rain off my windshield without streaks. Overall, a solid product.

Trying to find the right wipers for my old Mazda 3 on the UNIWIPER site. The car selector tool seems a bit confusing. Any tips on making sure I get the correct size and fitment?

P PatrickO 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Best bet is to measure your current blades, or check your car's manual. Then just match the length. The adapters usually cover most cars once you have the right length.

Yeah, I was thinking of measuring. Just hoped the site would be more straightforward.

I found their customer service pretty good for this. Just sent them my car's make, model, and year, and they told me exactly which ones to order.
2
G GraceM 1 month ago
Oh, that's a good idea! Didn't think of just asking them directly.

Thinking of trying the refillable wiper blades from UNIWIPER. My current ones are factory and pretty average. Are these refillable ones actually worth it long-term or just a gimmick?

O OliviaJ 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I switched to the refillables about 6 months ago. So far, so good. The initial blades were excellent, and I've got a refill kit ready for when they wear out. Seems more sustainable too.

That's good to hear. The idea of just replacing the rubber strip is appealing.

E EthanM 1 month ago
Did you get the silicone refills or the standard ones?
3
S SophieL 1 month ago
I'm still on the fence about them. My mate tried them and said fitting the refill was a bit fiddly, but once it was in, it worked fine. Not sure if I want the hassle.

Yeah, that's my main concern, the installation part.

Got a set of silicone wipers from UNIWIPER, and they're squeaking a bit after only a month. My windscreen is clean, used their fluid too. Any tips or should I contact support?

K KimberleyA 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Sometimes squeaking can happen if the blade angle isn't perfect. Try slightly adjusting the wiper arm, sometimes they get bent a tiny bit over time. Just a gentle twist.

J JasonR 1 month ago
Never thought of that! I'll try it carefully.
4
C ChrisW 1 month ago
Could also be the tension in the arm itself.
6
S SteveP 1 month ago
Mine squeaked for a bit then settled down. Might just need to 'break in'. If it keeps going, definitely hit up their support. They seem pretty responsive.
7
J JasonR 1 month ago
Yeah, I'll give it another week or so before I reach out.

Considering waiting for the Black Friday sale at UNIWIPER. Does anyone remember if they had good deals last year? Trying to get a bundle for two cars.

S SamW 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
They definitely had Black Friday deals last year, I picked up a set for my SUV. Was a decent percentage off, maybe 20-25%? Plus free shipping.

L LauraM 1 month ago
Oh nice, 20-25% would be perfect for two cars. Thanks for the info!

B BenC 1 month ago
Yeah, their holiday sales are usually pretty good. Boxing Day also had similar discounts if you miss Black Friday.

My UNIWIPER coupon code isn't working at checkout. I signed up for the newsletter, got the code, but it just says 'invalid coupon'. Anyone else had this issue?

R RyanB 1 month ago
Could be case sensitive too? Or maybe you accidentally copied an extra space.

J JessicaP 1 month ago
Good point. I'll double check the copy/paste.

I had a similar problem last month. Turned out I had an old item in my cart from before I signed up. Try clearing your cart and re-adding everything.

J JessicaP 1 month ago
Oh, interesting. I'll give that a go! Thanks for the tip.

Did you check the terms? Sometimes those newsletter codes are for first-time purchases only, or have a minimum spend.

J JessicaP 1 month ago
Yeah, I'm a first-time buyer and my cart is over the minimum. So confused.

Got a set of UNIWIPER 4x4 blades for my Land Cruiser. Install seemed simple enough but I can't get the driver's side to sit flush. It's leaving a small gap. Any ideas?

K KarenS 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Make sure you're in service position. Some 4x4s have weird arm angles that make it harder to install if it's not lifted away from the windscreen.

M MattD 1 month ago
Ah, good call on the service position. I totally forgot about that. Will try it first thing.

This usually solves it for me too.

Did you make sure it clicked in properly? Sometimes you need a bit more force than you think. Also, check the adapter. Sometimes they need a specific angle.
1
M MattD 1 month ago
Yeah, it clicked but still feels off. I'll try re-seating it tomorrow.

Just bought some European car wiper blades for my Golf from UNIWIPER. They seem pretty solid. Anyone know how these compare to something like Bosch or factory OEM long-term?

M MiaL 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I got some for my Audi A3 about 8 months ago. Still performing really well, no streaks or noise. I'd say they're on par with Bosch, maybe even a bit better value.

C ChrisW 1 month ago
That's good to hear, saves me paying dealer prices for sure.

T TomH 1 month ago
Mine lasted about a year before I started noticing a bit of streaking. For the price, I wasn't complaining though. Factory ones usually die quicker for me.

C Chloe88 1 month ago
A year is decent for wipers, honestly.

Hey, thinking of grabbing some wipers from uniwiper.com.au. I live in Perth, how long does shipping usually take to get here?

S Sam 3 months ago
Mine got to Brisbane in like 3 days, so Perth might be a bit longer but still pretty quick. They're usually on it.

I Ivy 3 months ago
Yeah, I'm in rural NSW and it took about a week for me. Pretty good considering, and free delivery is a plus.
